Lucban celebrates Pahiyas Festival every May 15 in honor of Saint Isidore, the Laborer, in their way of thanksgiving for a wonderful harvest.

It is a very colorful festival where houses across the streets are decorated with fruits,vegetables, agricultural products, and other handicrafts.

And, if you are lucky during the night, artists come to visit to perform during the night.
The streets are filled with smiles from people all over the place. It is a very wonderful feeling being in Pahiyas Festival.

And if you ever visit Lucban, Quezon, never leave the place without eating their Pancit Habhab.

nujleIt is a sort of a Pancit Guisado but you eat it with no spoon and fork, just the banana leaf plate, and eating like a dog.
